I strayed away from the shots of my weekend trip of Wells Maine back in August to the image that you see here. It was a remaining shot I forgot to post along with the "Done for the Day" shot I posted previously. After I shot that, the sun started to set and I pulled over to the side of the road to shoot this. It's another Utica / Schuyler, NY landmark that has been there for as long as I can remember. I love the neon sign. I certainly don't see that in the area which I currently live (although it's not a rural area).
I actually shot two images; one exposed for the sky and the other for the foreground.
